Where i found this word: This word was told to me from my girlfriends mom, she had used it while we were talking about something and I had never heard it before, i have really only put this in here because i really like my picture example

From this day forward, i am going to post my word of the day, every day...this word may be funny, it may be insightful, it may be just plain wierd...it doesnt make a difference what it is because it is my choice...so you will read it and enjoy it.each days word may get its own post depending on how much i like it, or it could just be attached to any other post i put up that day. Todays word is : KUMQUAT *chuckles*

Definition: a small, round or oblong citrus fruit having a sweet rind and acid pulp, used chiefly for preserves.

Where i found this word: Kumquat (lol) is a word that i actually found during a school project many years ago and has been a favourite word of mine ever since, i still laugh every time i hear it...he he he. I thought because it is such a great word that it would be perfect to kick off my word of the day, thank you.

Proud to be white?

Now, i am willing to bet that almost any single one of you that just read the title of that post automatically assumed i was being racist...wrong. This is what is wrong with our world and why there is still racism present. There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans, etc...any one of them could walk down the street and give me a dirty look and call me "whiteboy" "cracker" or "honkey" and it is ok, but as soon as a white person says the word "nigger" or "chink" we are all of a sudden racist. They have the United Negro College Fund, they have Black History Month, they have BET and those are all ok. If we were to start a college fund that only white people could get, we'd be racist, if we had white history month, we'd be racist, if we had WET (white entertainment television)...we'd be racist. If we had any organization to help only white people, we'd be racist. Now, as for the picture...any other race on the planet can be proud of their race and proclaim it to the world, but as SOON as someone says they are proud to be white, they are racist...i understand why this symbol is inappropiate and is not something tou be flaunting about, i am in no way related or have any affiliation with the people who run and organize "white power, and white pride" sites and groups, i understand that these people are not only proud to be white but do not think that any other races should exist and blah blah...yes its bad...but thats not what this is about. A black man can announce that he is proud to be black and everyone says "good for him", but if a white man announces that he is proud to be white he is shunned from society and labelled as a racist. Why is it then only white people can be racist, i am proud..but i am not racist, i live in canada which is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world and have many friends who are of different races.This double standard needs to stop, i am not saying that black people should not be allowed to be proud to be black, they should be, everyone should be allowed to be proud of their race, Chinese people should be proud, spanish people should be proud, why cant white people be proud to be white?...if someone can come up with a good logical answer as to why I as a white man cannot be proud to be white without automatically being a racist, then i commend you and would gladly remove this post from my blog...until then, it stands...i am proud to be white

Welcome everyone to my blog, i have created this blog because through the 17 years of my life that i have lived i have seen, heard and done some extremely stupid things. Now this blog is not going to be "Jackass" in writing and i am not going to regail you with idiotic stories of my youth when i pretended i was johnny knoxville and rode down a set of stairs in a shopping cart and almost broke my arm...there will be none of that! This blog will consist mainly of my thoughts and opinions about the happenings of the world and strange and odd things that i come across, wether it be on the internet or something i see when im driving down the street. I promise every blog will have something that will be of interest to you, it will also not be a 9,000 character entry everyday about what i did from the second i woke up to the second i went to bed, there are far too many of those out there.
