Word of the Day: Nov 2 2006

Word of the day: Cockchafer....lol

Definition: A scarab-type beetle, spread all across Europe. By British standards they're big, noisy and knobbly. They're absolutely harmless to people but the larvae, which eat roots, are an agricultural pest.

Where i found this word: I have known this word for a long time and long become one of my favourite words. It has even made its way onto my list of words which "sound dirty but really arent". I hope to eventually post that list but i would like to make it a little longer before i post it. Anyways, i hope you enjoy the "cockchafer"...lol
